The Daily Deskhenge:

Blessed Samhain and Happy Halloween, my friends! Our Deskhenge today is a special Witches New Year layout to show what’s coming up in the near future for us all. It looks wonderful, challenging, nurturing, and exciting! Yay!

First up will be a time of connection and harmony, of union and finding new ways to work with others and to connect on that deep and intimate level most of us want so much (the 2 of Cups; all together now: “Awwwwwwwww…”). There is a healing element to this as well, so it might not all be chocolates and romance–hey, sometimes healing hurts, and sometimes medicine tastes like tinfoil that’s been boiled in asphalt and covered in cat hair. But that’s ok. Healing is good, even when it hurts. Let yourself heal, and more importantly, let others help you heal. Let the sacred bless you and move you along as you go. You’re not alone.

After that will be a time to nurture yourself and let things simmer (the Queen of Pentacles). Let the spices in the sauce blend. Everything needs time to grow in darkness and quiet. Let the upcoming winter season (for you in the Northern hemisphere) be your quiet time. Let ideas roll around in your mind. Take notes. Make sketches. It’s not time to commit or to bring these projects out into the open yet. Let this be your pregnant time.

Finally, the time will come when you’ll be ready and able to connect all the dots and start moving energy from the realm of possibility into the realm of reality (the Magician). You’ll have the power and ability to do what you need to, the knowledge to understand not only how to do it but also the consequences of what you’re doing, and the passion and compassion in your heart for yourself and all things touched by your creations.
