The Daily Deskhenge:

Today’s Daily Deskhenge is about power helping you and hurting you, and you sitting with your ancestors/helper beings right smack in the middle. The power and it’s uses that’s hurting you is represented by the card on the left, the Ace of Wands. You and some other people within your sphere are fighting over the “Talking Stick.” Everybody’s got their own ideas and desires, and right now it seems like everybody is clamoring to be heard. Everybody wants to be the one who comes up with the great idea that solves whatever problem is being faced. Be careful around this energy, people: don’t start turning that wand against others. Don’t blow them out of the water with the power of your idea. This test is about how you use power when confronted by others doing exactly the same thing as you. The card on the right, The Sun, gives a hint as to how to deal with that power-struggle situation: speak clearly and openly about your needs, but with friendliness, humor, and a pony if you can find one. If you can’t find a pony, and who can these days, then trust your intuition the way you would a beloved child: no tantrums, no throwing things, no beating people over the head with the Talking Stick. Be playful, joyful, and sharing of your good energy and good ideas. Like Shakespeare says:

With cheerful semblance and sweet majesty;
That every wretch, pining and pale before,
Beholding him, plucks comfort from his looks:
A largess universal like the sun
His liberal eye doth give to every one

Be like that Harry, and share your goodness with everyone.
