The Daily Deskhenge:
So first things first: yay Friday! Ok, now down to business. For today’s deskhenge, I made a circle because circles are cool and I’m seeing zeroes everywhere these days, which might be indicative of or otherwise a reminder of the sacred void, the great feminine (see the egg in the middle there), the holy no-thing/every thing from which everything comes and to which everything goes, the Universal Recycling Bin(TM). Or circles rawk. One way or the other. 😉 The circle shape is a container for life. It’s interesting to me that movement (i.e., creation, gestation, pre-birth activities) happen within the circle, while the cards outside the circle represent physical movement: both the Fool (the card on the left) and the Hermit (the card on the right) are walking. We may begin in a circular space, but we’re born into the linear world, or at least what our perception tells us is a linear world. We have to discover the unseen circularity for ourselves.
The unseen part of life right now is at a beginning, a blank page. Anything can and will be created moving forward from here, so the opportunity exists to make it really really REALLY good. But the question lingers: do we know *how* to make things really good? Do we dare? That’s where the Hermit comes in (and notice that on the left side of the Hermit card, which in this deck is called “Aloneness,” there is both a penny and the silver rune for Wealth. What’s really really good is out there, maybe closer than we think. We just have to turn inward and discover our own real, true selves, and then start expressing our real, true selves, in order to find it. The other runes in the reading fell thusly: the Self and Change runes fell close to a powerful clear quartz crystal down near the bottom of the circle, telling me that we are changing on a deep inner level, and that that change is being amplified from within by the energy beyond us, and we’re asked to just let that amplification happen from within us outward. We are being tuned, as it were, to channel greater energy into this world. Oh, and see that brown stone on the right side of the circle just above the penny? That’s fossilized wood, which is considered a good stone for working with your ancestors (and past lives, actually). So your ancestors are trying to help you with the Wealth thing–if you have money issues, and who doesn’t these days unless you’re Warren Buffet, talk to your people. Take the prayer to them, whether they’re ancestors or angels or Ascended Masters, or to whomever you pray for help. Ask them sincerely and with heart, and then keep your eyes open for ways in which you can improve your wealth situation (including embracing and demonstrating gratitude for the wealth you already have). We’re on a journey.
